Statistically, working on tasks together almost doubles the chances of successfully completing them on time. That is why SAU allows you to create a project team: a group of like-minded people who will work on tasks together with you. Your team members will have access to the project and may be assigned to perform tasks.
A project in SAU can be personal or team-based.

In a personal project, there is only one participant — you. No one but you can see the project, make changes to it, or receive email and push notifications about it. In a personal project, you will be the assignee for all new tasks by default.
Personal projects are displayed in the Projects panel with this icon

A team project has at least two participants. A project always has an owner who can delete and archive it, delete any task, or change the project owner. Other people in the team can create tasks, make changes to them, modify the project and even invite new participants. But they can only delete tasks that they themselves have created.
The team project is only accessible to the project owner and the team. No one else will have access to it.

You can add collaborators to the project team whether they already use SAU or don't even have a SAU account yet.
  1. Open the projects panel and pick a project
  2. In the project, click in the upper right corner
  3. Select About the project. The project card will open
  4. Add one or more new collaborators by selecting them in the "Team" field.
When adding new collaborators, the list will show all users that are involved in any of your other projects. If the list is long, a search box will be available above the list — just enter a few letters of the name to search for someone specific
  5. If the person you're looking for isn't on the list, you can invite them to the project or even to join SAU by simply by entering their email - tap Add user to team and tap located at the top right corner. Type an email and tap "Send." New member will be added to the team, and the invitation will be sent to his email
  6. Press "Save" after you're done making changes
If you invite three or more people and they end up accepting your invitation and joining SAU, we SAU Premium Pro.
It is possible to invite a new person to the project, even if they do not have a SAU account. This can be done directly from the project card:
  1. Go to the project and click in the top right corner
  2. Select About the project. The project card will open
  3. In the project card that opens click "Haven't found your friend? Invite to the project" next to the "Team" field on the right side of the card
  4. Type the email of the new participant and click "Send". An invitation e-mail will be automatically sent to this email address and the user will be added to the team right away
  5. Click "Save"
If you invite three or more people and they end up accepting your invitation and joining SAU, we automatically gift you a 1-month subscription to SAU Premium Pro.
Removing a project team member will cause that person to lose access to the project and all assigned tasks. They will also stop receiving project emails and notifications.

To remove a member from the project team:
  1. Go to the project and click in the top right corner
  2. Select About the project. The project card will open
  3. In the project card that opens find an excluding member in the "Team" field
  4. Click the cross to the right of the user's name you want to remove. If the user has tasks in this project, you will see a message about it
Only the current owner can change the owner of the project.
Important: When changing the project owner, the current owner may lose access to the project (if they are added to the team, they will still have limited access). All the assigned tasks of the current owner will be reset and automatically replaced by the new owner.
To change the owner:
  1. Open the projects panel and pick a project
  2. In the project, click in the upper right corner
  3. Select About the project. The project card will open
  4. Pick the new owner in the "Owner" field
  5. Press "Save" after you're done making changes
You can also leave the project via role management. If you are a member of the team, simply go to the project card and remove yourself from the list of participants. In this case you will no longer have access to the project, it will not appear on your dashboard, and you will no longer receive messages or notifications about it. All tasks from this project will be automatically removed from your dashboard.

If you are the owner of the project, you will have to give the ownership of the project to another person. See the article "I'm the owner of the project. I want to leave my project. How can I give it to another user?" on how to do this.
