SAU PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA MANAGEMENT POLICY

1. Information collection and use
When you register for SAU, we ask you to input your email address. For SAU Premium, we may also keep your PayPal number (and/or other payment details) and mobile phone number. All information obtained is only for internal use and will not be shared with third parties.
We also request information which is necessary for efficient collaboration with other users: your name or nickname by which you will be visible to other users. This information is not required for registration.
SAU collects the email addresses of those users who contact us via email.
We only collect personal data necessary to provide our services. We only store it to the extent and as long as necessary to deliver such services.
2. Legal grounds
SAU complies with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act (Singapore, 2012) and other similar legal acts. The personal data protection officer in SAU can be contacted via email: pdpa@sau.app.
At any time, you can request information on your personal data we have collected and the ways it was used or disclosed in the 12 months prior to the date of the request.
You can withdraw your consent for collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data by notice to pdpa@sau.app
3. Your personal data
SAU uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related information technology necessary to run SAU.
Although SAU owns the source code and databases, you retain all rights to your data. We will never share your personal data with a third party without your explicit consent (except for cases envisaged by applicable law), and we do not sell personal data to third parties.
Payment processors, such as Stripe. This payment processor is responsible for the processing of your Information, and may use your Information for their own purposes in accordance with their privacy policies. More information is available at https://stripe.com/gb/privacy for Stripe.
We may transfer data to third parties in cases where necessary for the functioning of the service, and provided the activities of such third parties are in compliance with GDPR (if the third party in question is located in the EU) or other similar legislation (for example, PDPA, if the third party in question is registered in Singapore).
4. Cookies
We use cookies (short text fragments that websites you visit send to the browser) to store user preferences and customize content based on the user’s browser type or other information. The use of cookies is required to work with SAU.
5. Advertising services
We do not collaborate with any advertising services and do not have any other relationships with such companies.
6. Safety
All data and information are transmitted via TLS 1.1-1.2 secure channels under the SSL protocol with 128-bit or 256-bit browser encryption.
7. Changes
Should our privacy and personal data management policy change at any time in the future, we will post respective information on our website. Such changes will apply only to data collected after the change implementation date. If you are concerned about how your personal data is used, please visit the SAU website regularly.
